The location was great as the MTR station is super close. Lots of public transport options bus to everywhere. Check-in and check-out processes were easy. Almost across the street from Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Loved lots of local eating options in alleyways behind the hotel. Plenty of convenient stores around. Very quiet despite being on a main road (the height helps). Breakfast spread was great, lots of both Asian and Continental options. Bathroom and toilet were clean. No everyday cleaning for environmental reasons which I didn't mind. Amenities station for extra things including water was useful. Staff were always smiling and greeting you. I found the mattress comfortable and there are two options for pillows.

The staff were very pleasant, accommodating and helpful. The rooms was spotless, well lit, and the bed was comfortable. I requested for extra pillows, and they were provided immediately, at no extra cost.

Easy to find, comfortable, and clean. The location is superb, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room reminded me of rooms in Tokyo hotels - minimalist, and cleverly designed.

In a prime location in the Zhongzheng District district of Taipei, Sotetsu Grand Fresa Taipei Ximen is located a 7-minute walk from Presidential Office Building, 300 yards from Taipei Zhongshan Hall... The best location ever! We have a great view of the Xiamen Road and very very accessible. They also grant our request to provide extra mattress near the window so we can have stunning photos!

I stayed in the private room. Just one night. Would stay again. Sunrise was around 5 am -5:15 am, so it was a good thing that there were curtains for the windows. Maps and some tips available from staff at check-in as you would expect from a helpful hostel.
