I‘m giving this hotel a ten because it deserves its current average above 9. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others. Nice hotel, nice room, nice staff. Particularly convenient one stop away from the main train station if you want to use highspeed rail to see the west coast.

El City Inn Plus se encuentra en la famosa zona de Ximending, a 5 minutos a pie de la estación de MRT de Ximen. Este establecimiento ofrece alojamiento elegante con WiFi gratuita. Central location, right beside Ximen MRT. Excellent staff, very nice and helpful. They provided me with a surprise birthday day cake, very appreciate that. Room and hotel are very clean. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast but there’s a coffee room with free coffee and soft drink.

The location was great as the MTR station is super close. Lots of public transport options bus to everywhere. Check-in and check-out processes were easy. Almost across the street from Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Loved lots of local eating options in alleyways behind the hotel. Plenty of convenient stores around. Very quiet despite being on a main road (the height helps). Breakfast spread was great, lots of both Asian and Continental options. Bathroom and toilet were clean. No everyday cleaning for environmental reasons which I didn't mind. Amenities station for extra things including water was useful. Staff were always smiling and greeting you. I found the mattress comfortable and there are two options for pillows.

Great location overlooking Ximending, also a few steps from Ximen MTR exit 3, very convenient for reaching all over Taipei. Big windows throughout room, very bright, very quiet even on 4th floor. Very clean and plenty of room. Great shower. Convenient and high quality restaurant downstairs where we ate breakfast twice it was so nice.
