The Ascott Thonglor Bangkok is hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels across the world, including 5 star hotels at thrice the rate. My room number was 1313 but it was the luckiest stay! It deserves a detailed review... 1. Booking: Was very easy through booking.com. I got a genius discount as well as a free room upgrade to an Executive Studio! 2. Check in: was a breeze. Very helpful staff. The whole hotel is a smoke free zone, which was music to my ears! 3. Room: The Executive Studio was just perfect in every way. Everything in the room was as if made to enhance my stay. It was fully equipped with anything I may need - safe, hair dryer, iron and stand, gown, slippers... It was completely sound proof and I was never disturbed by any noise from the corridor or adjacent rooms. The kitchenette was amazing, though I didnt use it much. A stove, microwave, fridge and freezer, kettle, coffee machine, crockery and cutlery. Overall, it was like a small apartment. The bed, pillows, comforter, bed linen, towels were of excellent quality, and very comfortable - it was a pleasure to get into bed! Internet was great and free. Air conditioning settings could be changed as desired. The lighting was very unique, with low rope lights under the bedside tables and bathroom sink so you could go to the bathroom at night without turning all on the lights. Truly, it had all the things one would want from a hotel, including things one didnt even know about! 4. Bathroom: Just fabulous! It seemed like it was newly made and I was the first person to use it. The toileteries provided were of very good quality, and replaced as I used them. 5. Services: Overall the staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned perfectly to a T every day. It seemed as if the person(s) who cleaned it knew my needs and preferences. Great location right next to the lively Soi Cowboy. Also staff are really helpful and friendly and let us leave our bags the following day after checkout as our flight was until 9:00pm on the evening. Hotel room also has the best toilet I have ever used, heated seat and other technology on it, makes you want to stay on it for a whole 😂

Me and my partner were very impressed by the quality of the furniture and household appliances, everything is in a new condition. Very comfy quality mattress, usually we prefer classic Thai firm mattress, because we have issues with the back. In this hotel it’s soft but supporting the back and joints, it doesn’t fall down in the middle like a “hammock". Absolutely quite in the room, no sounds from the streets (6th floor), located in the nice clean Japanese district. Japanese style toilet with washing and drying system is funny.

Great location in Japan two with only 5 minute walk to BTS Thong Lor station, making it easily accessible from airport by public transport. Also the neighbour is great with so many interesting venues in walking distance. The room is great and bed is comfortable. I have to mention their breakfast has so many options from western to local Thai style and the quality is restaurant level, which is great. Staffs are very nice and caring, everyone is smiling and polite. This is the hotel I will live again if I ever return to Bangkok for sure.

Beautiful inteior! The place is very cozy with vibrant and warm interior. Very comfortable. The staffs were sooo nice. All of them. Tuktuk driver, receptionist, barista, waiter, chef etc were all so so nice! They have free tuktuk transfer from the hotel to the main road which was very convenient. They offer baggage storage and a showrr at the rooftop. Would definitely come back or suggest this hotel to others!
