Enjoyed having a balcony overlooking the street. LOCATION! The local food on your doorstep and along the railway a minute walk away was the highlight for me. It’s old town Bangkok. You get the experience, the taste is excellent and the price is low. Very few tourists around. Loved that. Staff absolutely delightful. Will direct you to anywhere you ask about. Friendly and caring. I was given a late checkout at no extra charge because it was quiet and I very much appreciated.

Plenty of untapped entertainment and great local food nearby actually, but it just takes a bit of research and planning. Near-zero tourist area.

This is our second stay here at Baan Boon. There is nothing not to like. The welcome from Sani, her husband Nope and her mum and brother. It's lovely. Lots of fruit from the garden, Daeng Mo the dog skipping around. Two minutes from the BTS, great wee community all around. Easy to walk to Talat Phlu, or other locations to get a bus (if you like walking in the heat). We are looking forward to a third visit

Escape Bangkok’s bustle in the beautifully landscaped grounds of Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. We had a very nice room with a sweeping view of the river and the city. The breakfast buffet was huge with an excellent selection of food. The pool is situated in a lush garden. We will gladly return to this hotel and resort
