Situated within 6 km of Wat Arun and 6.2 km of Wat Pho, Kaya Place features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bangkok. Nice staff, big room, big bed. Good to have a sofa, table, desk, fridge, good wifi, and lots of space. Not much in the immediate vicinity, but within walking / bus distance (towards Dao Kanong) there are good food options, market, night market. Plenty of untapped entertainment and great local food nearby actually, but it just takes a bit of research and planning. Near-zero tourist area.

A recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Bangkok, Baan Boon features a garden. Boasting bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I like the cosy room, very quiet and super clean. Functional too ! The tropical garden is a guenine oasis in the middle of BKK. Sani is a very friendly host and provides many useful tips about Thonburi. Thank you ! Off the beaten tracks, away from the skyscrapers, back to the traditional BKK !!!

Escape Bangkok’s bustle in the beautifully landscaped grounds of Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. The service was simply outstanding. From the quick check-in to the incredibly friendly breakfast staff, everything was top-notch. The pool attendants who provided us with towels were also very kind. We arrived early and were allowed to check into our room without any additional charge. On the day of our departure, we checked out at 4:00 AM and received a packed lunch, which was a thoughtful touch. It was also very convenient to reach downtown Bangkok, with the hotel’s boat service taking us there every half hour, free of charge. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return when we're in Bangkok again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
