Beautiful hotel with all the amenities you could want. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. There are several places to relax or sit with a drink, both inside and out. The location is perfect and walkable to restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc. (uphill of course). The restaurant food was exquisite and reasonably priced for the surroundings. I highly recommend this hotel and would return here again. We stayed 5 nights in room 3306. Great view. Hotel has an elevator.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt like a cherished guest at a welcoming home. The manager, as well as each staff member, took the time to personally introduce themselves to me, artfully selecting unobtrusive moments for our interaction. They anticipate needs as though reading minds, ensuring that every detail, no matter how small, is tended to with genuine care. Always there when you need them but never imposing. Never missing an opportunity to do the most, you could see their smiles light the room like sunshine each time they observed how their service brought joy to their guests. The room was impeccably appointed, with the art, architecture and woodwork immersing you in quality luxury. Views from the room were delightful. A comfortable sanctuary for creating, resting, or relaxing. The thoughtfulness that was shown to me made me feel truly seen, valued, and cared for. I never expected this level of warmth and attention to detail and as I left there were hugs all around and the kindest parting gifts to accompany me home - some tea leaves from my favorite morning tea at the Palacete Severo and a rose freshly cut from within the gorgeous gardens. At Palacete Severo, service transcends expectation—this is not just a hotel; it’s a second home, lovingly curated to cradle its guests in comfort, art, peace, and serenity.

A very personal welcome by the staff and owner of the hotel was the start of an exceptional 4 day stay in Porto. The hotel is discretely situated in a small street and when we opened the door to the hotel we found ourselves in a beautiful original house with original paintings on the wall paper, hand painted decorations and furnitures to match the originality of the entire house. All is carefully renovated with the hotel comfort in mind. We had a suite to the garden and experienced some of the most quiet hotel nights ever. The owner and staff finds an exceptional pride in their work and in maintaining the house and the hotel standard and were providing outstanding assistance and advices to visits in Porto. By far the best, most personal and most outstanding and unique hotel experience ever.

Well set in Porto, room Select Porto provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a bar. The property is close to Clerigos Tower, Palacio da Bolsa and Ferreira Borges Market. We stayed in two rooms during our stay, one of which was Room 801 - a lovely accommodation. The hotel's service was exceptional and having a parking spot was very convenient.
