We stayed there during December, for 10 days. The place was amazing. Maria, Rita and her husband welcomed us with lots of tips about the city, where to eat and what to visit. Check in: They waited for us until we arrived at the apartment, and Rita explained everything about the flat. Also, during our stay we had some doubts about things in the flat, and Rita immediately answered in WhatsApp and told us where things were, and solved all our questions. The flat is cozy, the room was great, and the kitchen was well equiped. A great place to stay. Location: The flat is in a nice area, and you can find places to eat and a small market shop (tienda de barrio) 5 minutes uphill. Remember Lisbon has a thousand hills, so you gotta walk up and down everywhere. If you are used to drive a car to move around, change your mindset and get used to walk for 10-15 minutes to a restaurant or so. In Lisbon do as the Lisboans. Laundry: Most houses in Portugal only have a washing machine (with some drying mode option, but clothes are still wet). As locals do, you hang your clothes outside the windows or with some hangers, but during winter it may take a day or two to dry. If you are in a rush and you need to dry your clothes quickly, there is a laundromat 5 minutes walking (and 100mts downhill) where you can use the dryers, the instructions are easy and it was cheap for the quantity of clothes (there was a huge dryer). The apartment is quiet: Many people complained about the airplane's noise and our friends also told us about this common problem in Lisbon, but we found out that the apartment is super quiet and no street traffic or planes bothered us at night. Check out: For departure, Rita and Maria even asked if we were in a rush so they could visit us the day before to arrange the check out. You need a bit of time for checkout, so plan accordingly.

Το Campo de Ourique Premium προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi, κλιματισμό και βεράντα στη Λισαβόνα. Helena, our host, was a wonderful lady. Went all beyond and exceeded our expectations. She met us at the apartment and was very responsive all the time. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment after check-out so we could venture and spend some time at the beach. The apartment was clean and tidy, spacious, in the Campo Ouerique neighborhood, close to the bus/tram28 stop (1min), close to small grocery stores (2min) and Aldi(5min). Also, there was a really nice mercado nearby with delicious food selection. The apartment is on the top floor, so keep in mind that you will have to climb a couple of stairs. There was a small balcony from where we could enjoy our breakfast with the amazing view of the 25th april bridge and Basilica of Estrela. Also enjoyed the evening view as well. The furniture from the balcony will be updated soon. There is no couch. Has been replaced with 2 confortable armchairs. Master bedroom is ensuite. A big plus for the dishwasher, which made our stay extremely comfortable.

It's wonderfully clean and even more beautiful than the photos online. The room I stayed in and the common areas are designed in a way that is comfortable, functional and lovely. The room temperature, bed and shower were all perfect, as was the location. Breakfast was delicious! The proprietor is so thoughtful and even contacted me before I arrived to make sure there would be selections I could eat at breakfast as I had noted food allergies when booking. She genuinely wants guests to enjoy their stay in the guesthouse and in Lisbon. I hope to stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

We had a lovely stay in Lisbon over a long weekend and A casa na Estrela was the perfect accomodation! The apartment is really well designed with a modern feel. Everything was clean and super comfortable. The hostess Margarida was fantastic with communication and super helpful with recommendations for the area. The area itself is not the most touristy, which I really liked! I felt we got a sense of a more authentic Lisbon area. It's also only a beautiful 20-30 minute walk to the main spots like barrio alto and a short Uber, so you're right amongst it.

The apartment is walkable from subway and bus stops. The famous tram 28 is almost at the door…. The apartment is equipped with all needed for a comfortable stay. The owners bend backwards to make us comfortable… we were greeted personally before checking in. There were fruits, buns and bottled water waiting upon our arrival. It was great since we arrived from overseas……!
