Stay was luxurious and allowed us to prepare meals rather than eat in restaurants. The building and unit have good security. Short walk to nice beach “Balneario El Escambrón.” (Walk to right as you exit the building, then turn left on C. San Agustín.) Excellent beer and wine at Ambrosia Fine Wines https://ambrosiafinefoods.net/ a block to the right as you head out the main entrance, at intersection of C. Martín Fernández. (It recently opened so it’s not on Google Maps.) It was an easy cheap Uber to the cruise port.

Enjoy stunning views of the San Juan Bay and easy access to historic sites and local attractions at Hotel Rumbao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The breakfast is excellent, it is almost a brunch! The location is just perfect. The staff was nice and tried to fulfill all our wishes. Parking is solved too! The location makes this hotel unique.

There are many things to love about this hotel but it cannot be stressed enough how amazing the staff are. Friendliest most genuine group of hotel staff I’ve ever encountered, they really make you feel so welcome. Plus the rooms were comfy, location is perfect, open bar is incredible!

The staff were really friendly. The hotel room was very clean. The swimming pool and hot tub was great after a long hot day.

Offering free WiFi throughout, Decanter Hotel is located 100 metres from Ponce de Leon Statue and 200 metres from Old San Juan. The location was super. The room was very clean and we will definitely visit this hotel again.

This hotel is located in the heart of historic Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Hotel guests will receive beach privileges at the El Convento Beach Club on Isla Verde Beach. Everything! Great historical building! Great location! Molton Brown toiletries! And great staff!

All the best restaurants of Old San Juan are steps away. Plus the rooftop bar, restaurant and pool are amazing! My only suggestion is that there be more lounge area for during the day. It would be very easy to add some lounge chairs where there is tables. Many more would be able to enjoy that area. Many other guests felt the same on this issue. It is a new hotel so I am sure things like this will be observed and changed. We loved this hotel and location!
