This place was so clean and new it was amazing for the cost. And the fact that it was a gated property made it even better. They had everything there we needed and free WiFi made it even better.

Everything there for a stay of a couple of days. Comfortable, warm, great beds, good wifi, also sound proof as the rugby was on nearby, but inside the house we heard nothing. Would recommend.

Such a tidy and smart apartment, which was central to a lot of activities we were doing as a family. Instructions for how to get in/where to park/how to use things were clear and easy to understand.

Set in a refurbished 1874 building, Jailhouse Accommodation offers an on-site café and a guest lounge with a cinema projector. It is 10 minutes’ walk from Christchurch Railway Station. Really cool place. Still had some cells set up as they would have been with graffiti etc. good location.
