Friendly, clean, we could leave our bags at reception as our flight was only later in the day. We will definately book here again if we have to visit NZ. Nice hot shower.

Set in a refurbished 1874 building, Jailhouse Accommodation offers an on-site café and a guest lounge with a cinema projector. It is 10 minutes’ walk from Christchurch Railway Station. Super cool property, all the little touches and leaning into the whole jail/prisoner/warden thing was super fun. The staff were real friendly.
