Conveniently located in the Charlois district of Rotterdam, ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy is located 8.6 km from Erasmus University, 8.6 km from Diergaarde Blijdorp and 10 km from Plaswijckpark. The hotel is 30 mins from Rotterdam Centraal by metro+walking, in an area with new modern buildings, almost outside the city, near a huge parking that serves probably Ahoy hall. There is a huge park, too, we didn't have time to explore. A Lidl is a couple minutes walk away from the hotel. The hotel has a very pleasant restaurant with a simple menu, but so well done dishes. We loved the salmon and the tortellini soup. The decorations in the rooms and halfway are really something I've never seen before Definitely quirky. The bed is comfortable. we definitely slept very well. Soundproof was good. Strangely this Ibis was also the cheapest we booked in the Nederlands. Most probably because it is new. Very effective staff at the reception and in the restaurant.
