Mi Amor hotel is a perfect get away for a couple. I went with my wife for 4 nights and everything was great. I would say the staff made the stay special , they made sure we were happy and comfortable . They also hooked us up with their sister locations at the Mezaninne restaurant down the road and the Zebra beach club. Really nice get away for couples. The location is ideal for relaxing and a short walk from some other nice beach clubs and restaurants.

Our amazing room on the top floor had private balcony and hot tub overlooking the ocean. We slept with the whole room open to the ocean listening to the surf. It's in a highly protected area. We could tell local ex-pats also come here for the intimate bar and restaurant which serves delicious Thai in the evening. Very close by are other restaurants, and downtown Tulum. It overlooks beautiful waters, connects to the beach, and is close to the Tulum Mayan ruins. The front desk really helped us and arranged everything we asked including a personal driver for the day who took us to Yal-ku lagoon and Akumal Beach for snorkeling (probably the two best places).

Pocna Tulum exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The staff was the nicest possible, the room was sparkling clean, spacious, bright. The atmosphere in the whole place is second to none. Food was amazing (specially the Mexican one!). Some comments mentioned that you can't buy food after 5pm - this is completely false. Pocna has 2 restaurants and the Asian one is open until 10pm (with one of the best Ramens we ever had!). The morning sunrise Yoga sessions were just a cherry on the top of the cake!

Quiet and peaceful - some guests tried to set up loud music at night, but were promptly asked to shut it down twice after asking reception what was happening.
