Set in the Chingeltei district in Ulaanbaatar, 100 metres from National Museum of Mongolian History, Urgoo hotel boasts a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel is centrally located but on a quite road near the parliament building and the national museum. The hotel operates a restaurant and several other dining options are close by. Check in and check out were swift and efficient. The room (401) was clean, well equipped, and the bed was compfortable. Special requests such as airport transfers and breakfast upon arrival were arranged without flaws. Breakfast items from a menu to choose from met my taste. I highly recommend this hotel with its friendly and competent staff.

Bishrelt hotel is one of the best located luxury hotels in the heart of Ulaanbaatar city. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant. Loved the stay. The staff were very nice, the room was lovely. I liked being in a walkable part of town. There’s not a lot of English spoken, but Google translate deals with that, and everyone was very kind and helpful. Also good location, for example the 20 min walk to the monastery with the giant Buddha is well worth it.

Zaya Hostel is located in Ulaanbaatar. Each room here will provide you with a seating area. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. I stayed in a few different guesthouses in UB during my time there and while none of them were bad, Zaya was by far the best. Super nice owner that speaks Mongolian, English, and Russian. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, two kitchen/lounging areas, reliable hot water, tours and advice available. The owner went above and beyond a few times to help me out with arrangements. Excellent option!
