From the minute the cab pulled up I felt like I’d gone back in time. Oh, it’s completely modern, with individual ac and good showers alright. But it seems like something out of a movie, an eccentric independent comedy when life was good and there was a kind of innocent charm despite the cool modernist vibe. The two desk managers spoke fluent English and were both effective and charming in dealing with my several offbeat issues. The place was full of couples who seemed to be there for a day or two (Not hours!) to have a fun few days, most of them Asian and the odd Westerner who seemed much less fun than the former. I felt right at home with the large Turkish population (great food) and occasional girl gang, right at home with working class surroundings, and Itaewon is full of local service workers. There’s smoking and drinking on a few corners, lots of lovely pig restaurants, pet dogs from Pomeranians to Great Pyrenees, I even saw a laid back Border Collie. I like busses over subways and lots were nearby. Fast food joints, tourist junk shops, Trans bars and a tailor and coffee houses. KFC, McDonald’s, Subway. A convenience store on every corner. There’s even a grocer a few blocks away where you will see… fruit!

Staying in the bustling heart of Itaewon, close to a subway station was great: soaking in the atmosphere in the neighborhood but at the same time being able to hop on the subway and visit other parts of Seoul.

The house is exactly as advertised on Booking.com. The place is clean, there are towels, toothbrushes and toiletries provided. The kitchen is well organised with cooking utensils and cutlery. Korean instant coffee and green tea are also available to guests. When we arrived, we were short of one set of towels, pillows and blanket. The host was quick to reply my messages and the stay was exceptionally wonderful. The house is also within walking distance from Itaewon nightclubs and bars. Across the street, there is a 7-11 store which makes purchasing of any late night snacks super convenient!

Objekat Seoul Cube Itaewon je smešten u gradu Seul, na 3,7 km od znamenitosti Šoping centar The Shilla Duty Free Shop - glavna prodavnica, a ima zajednički salon, terasu i pogled na grad. Breakfast was good and sufficiently with eggs, jams, cheese and bread. Also tea and the milk. Especially most of the guests were so nice and thoughtful about others. Room is big enough you can flex with your bags and stuff. Bed is comfortable and well-sleep.

G Guesthouse Itaewon is just a 1-minute walk from Itaewon Subway Station (Line 6) and a 15-minute drive from Seoul Station. Location was excellent easily get anywhere in Seoul. Can come and go as you please. Free breakfast also a plus

The hostel manager is approachable and the environment is neat and quiet. right at the center of itaewon. closer to the itaewon market and the main road leading to the busy entertainment center.
