I like that the hotel is close to JR Akabane station. It is very convenient to go there. There are many restaurants, supermarkets and Donki near the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel room is clean and comfortable, and can accommodate two 29-inch suitcases

Conveniently located in the Kita district of Tokyo, Toyoko Inn Tokyo Akabane-eki Higashi-guchi is set 100 metres from Catholic Akabane Church, 400 metres from Akabane Park and 600 metres from... I highly recommend Toyoko Inn, it really exceeded my expectations! It wasn't very expensive and the room was well equipped and clean. The personel was friendly, helpful and breakfast was good. Extremely good price-value ratio and Akabane was a peaceful and safe neighbourhood. If we ever come back to Japan this is definitely the place we're booking.

Located a 3-minute walk from JR Akabane Station, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokyo Akabane provides modern rooms and free WiFi. This was the 4th or 5th time staying here. Since I discover this Hotel, every time I visit Tokyo I stay here. I Love this hotel

The breakfast was delicious with some unexpected offerings and we appreciated the "Welcome Bar" in the evening. The baths were really pleasant, too!

Keep in mind that it was my first time in Japan, and I don't travel often to begin with so this review is coming from an inexperienced traveler. I thought this place was great to stay in. The location isn't too far from the Akabane Station (it's about a 10 minute walk), but if you have a lot of luggage it might be a little bit inconvenient. I only stayed for a week and just had a backpack and a carry on so it was fine. The front desk staff was really nice, they do speak some English so checking in and out was simple. If you're staying for an extended period of time they let you select your cleaning days (cleaning happens from 10am-3pm) and then they explain to you that your new towels will be hung on your door daily. The location is convenient because right outside of the hotel there's a cool area with a bunch of places to eat and drink as well as a Family Mart that's right across the street. The best part was that the 7Eleven around the corner has a 7bank ATM (I think all of them do), that accepts VISA as well as most other credit cards so if you forget to do the currency exchange at the airport like I did you can still get yen here. The facility is very clean and the elevator is fast. I stayed in a smoking room and never noticed any weird smells or anything, the room also comes with a nice AC unit and air freshener if you're concerned about that. The bathroom was perfect for me, but if you're taller than like 5'10" I can see how it would feel a little bit cramped. For the price it was amazing and the cleaning crew cleans the room and the bathroom really well.

Fully renovated in December 2014, SUPER HOTEL Tokyo Akabane Station East Ichibangai is located a 6-minute walk from JR Akabane Station. It offers modernly furnished rooms and a complimentary... This hotel is so great! The free breakfast buffet was so delicious and full of variety make sure you take advantage of it. They also offer free tea/coffee and soft drinks between 3 and 6 and free booze between 6 and 9 every single evening! cant beat the Location as it’s right near the Akabane station and all the cool stuff around it. Great restaurants and shops all around and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Would stay here again for sure!

Featuring free WiFi and a hot tub, Mokkoan offers accommodation in Kita Ward, Tokyo. Private parking is available on site. Every room comes with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. I really liked everything (and I mean everything) about this place (or should I say home!). From their going out of the way to do things for you, to their amazing furry baby (k chan), there's nothing you can't love about this place. The neighbourhood is really peaceful to stay at and the house is maintained really well - we got a glimpse of the traditional way of life in Japan. P.S. I'm vegan and they were super accommodating for the breakfast and even prepared soy milk for me - so do let them know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions and you can expect this to be taken care of :)
