Attractively set in the Kita district of Tokyo, Super Hotel Tokyo Akabane Eki Minamiguchi is situated 200 metres from Akabane Park, 400 metres from Inatsuke Castle Ruins and 500 metres from Josho-ji... Great location - looks far out but is so close to the train station that gets you into main areas in 20 mins. Onsen was lovely, breakfast was nice and loads of free toiletries

SUPER HOTEL Tokyo Akabane Station East Ichibangai renoveeriti täielikult 2014. aasta detsembris ning asub JR Akabane jaamast 6-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. This hotel is so great! The free breakfast buffet was so delicious and full of variety make sure you take advantage of it. They also offer free tea/coffee and soft drinks between 3 and 6 and free booze between 6 and 9 every single evening! cant beat the Location as it’s right near the Akabane station and all the cool stuff around it. Great restaurants and shops all around and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Would stay here again for sure!

Keep in mind that it was my first time in Japan, and I don't travel often to begin with so this review is coming from an inexperienced traveler. I thought this place was great to stay in. The location isn't too far from the Akabane Station (it's about a 10 minute walk), but if you have a lot of luggage it might be a little bit inconvenient. I only stayed for a week and just had a backpack and a carry on so it was fine. The front desk staff was really nice, they do speak some English so checking in and out was simple. If you're staying for an extended period of time they let you select your cleaning days (cleaning happens from 10am-3pm) and then they explain to you that your new towels will be hung on your door daily. The location is convenient because right outside of the hotel there's a cool area with a bunch of places to eat and drink as well as a Family Mart that's right across the street. The best part was that the 7Eleven around the corner has a 7bank ATM (I think all of them do), that accepts VISA as well as most other credit cards so if you forget to do the currency exchange at the airport like I did you can still get yen here. The facility is very clean and the elevator is fast. I stayed in a smoking room and never noticed any weird smells or anything, the room also comes with a nice AC unit and air freshener if you're concerned about that. The bathroom was perfect for me, but if you're taller than like 5'10" I can see how it would feel a little bit cramped. For the price it was amazing and the cleaning crew cleans the room and the bathroom really well.
