Waqoo Shitaderamachi is situated in Tennoji, in Osaka. The accommodation is 500 metres from popular areas such as Tsutenkaku and Shinsekai. Exceeded expectations. Close to Tennoji park, walking distance to the palace and Namba. The staff were wonderful, the room large and immaculate. Breakfast was generous and made with care, and the ladies that served it were so thoughtful and kind. I discovered a food allergy while in Japan and they carefully accommodated it. My father and I had a great stay there for a week, it was a great base to explore Osaka, and day trips to Nara and Kyoto. I’d definitely stay there again.

Not only did they assist us in finding the nearest pediatric clinic on a Sunday, they also coordinated with the clinic staff so that they fully undestand our situation and checked if any of them can speak english. They also checked on our situation every time we arrive and leave the hotel. Location: it is just one subway station away from Dotonbori, and the station conveniently has an elevator near the hotel. There are also convenience stores nearby. There is a 7/11 just beside the entrance of the hotel and two Family Marts on the opposite street. Amenities: The rooms are more spacious compared to your typical hotel. The 2nd floor has a guest lounge with tables and microwave ovens where you can heat and eat your food or just hang out while drinking your coffee. They also have a smoking area at the roof top that has a pretty cozy ambiance and a nice view of the buildings nearby.

Location is very convenient to restaurants, stores, malls, and train/subway stations. Room is excellent, they clean everyday, changing towels,robes, and toiletries daily. Staffs are all respectful and helpful. Overall- it’s a thumbs up.
