The room was really comfortable and had a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine, which we were grateful for. The staff was really helpful and came to meet us after check-in time despite is being really late and helped me get my Suica card back after I lost it. I really recommend this hotel and hope to be back in the future

I enjoyed experiencing a more traditional Japanese style room while I was staying in Kyoto. The location was really nice being close to nature and the nearby city! It's on top of a big hill, so your legs will get a good workout each time you go up and down. It's pretty convenient being close to the main things you can think of, such as transportation, convenience stores, restaurants, and nature trails. I would stay here again!

The Japanese house setting with neat and clean rooms. Also the additional manga, books and board games were entertaining too! Everything was well arranged with proper and clear instructions about their operation. The rooms were very spacious too. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and even guided us to the guest house by a phone call.
