Very close to Kyoto station, 7 min walk from the station to the hotel, the room is very big and we really liked that it has a washer-dryer as well as detergent in the room. We recommend booking breakfast in advance if you don't want to be exploring options in the morning. We read many negative comments about breakfast, the truth is that the breakfast is sufficient, tasty and of very good quality, the staff informs you beforehand about the breakfast menu, so you can choose if you want to have it or not. They also have a mini buffet that includes eggs, salads, sausages, bread and jams.

Sunrise Suites is located in Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Toji Station. Guests can explore Toji Temple, just a 4-minute walk from the property. This was our second stay at Sunrise— we liked it so much we booked our Kyoto stay around availability here. The location is great. It’s an easy 15 walk through smaller quiet streets from the station. It’s 5 minutes to both north/south or east/west bus routes. The immediate area has a grocery store, no end of small local excellent restaurants, a couple of good coffee shops and a convenience store. Plus you’re right across the street from an impressive pagoda. As the hotel is set back from the street, it is quiet. The design throughout references many aspects of Japanese culture sometimes with a more modern take. The rooms feel spacious and comfortable, and the small kitchenette is a bonus. The staff are exceptionally gracious and pleasant. Our Japanese is extremely limited and all of the receptionists spoke very good English. Strongly recommended.

Beautiful, well designed room in excelent location, super-kind, English speaking staff, modern approach to room maintenance (you get a sweet award, if you don't ask for making up your room :) at the front desk you can hire a high quality speaker, ac adaptors or even a projector at no charge. 22 pieces is a great experience, highly recommended.

大日寺の宿 京都吉祥院 har ett perfekt läge i området Minami Ward i Kyoto, 3,7 km från templet Tofuku-ji, 3,8 km från Kyoto station och 3,8 km från Fushimi Inari-taisha helgedom. The staff are excellent, they can't help you enough. Great value accommodation, clean and spacious. I cannot understand why it's not a 5 star hotel. I will return soon, it just made my stay in Kyoto so so much better. A special thanks to Machi and Yoshi. I highly recommend this hotel, especially because of Machi and Yoshi, I can not truly say how welcomed I was , how nice the staff are ...especially Machi and Yoshi.

Ikoi HOTEL ligger idealiskt beläget i centrala Kyoto och har gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en gemensam lounge. Location was perfect, even very close to station. Room was very clean. Everything was more than expected. Also very silent location. Just one stop from Kyoto Station. Also staff was very helpful before the actual hotel nights and also during the stay. We got good advices and help. Bed was better than expected. Very wide for one person. Washing machine was close to reception and working with coins.
