We stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel for our last night in Japan before flying home from Kansai Airport. It is conveniently located in Sannomiya, close to the train station, the Airport Limousine bus stop and many shops and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious for this type of hotel and way more luxurious than I expected for the very reasonable price! The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. I made an error when booking and they promptly helped me to fix it (and spoke excellent English, which was helpful as I was unable to explain my mistake with my limited Japanese!) I look forward to staying again next time I visit Kobe!

Great location and wonderful place to stay. The sauna and spa were a delightful bonus but it does get busy and it’s not that big.

Although the staff did not speak English, they did have a translator device so we were able to communicate. Best thing of all, they have a free Cafe space which allows you to have free coffee and tea. Hotel was also very close to the subway station and convenience store. The subway station is connected to a lot of restaurants and department stores.

Well situated in the Chuo Ward district of Kobe, Kobe Luminous Hotel Sannnomiya is situated 25 km from Mt. Rokko, 22 km from Mount Maya and 1.5 km from Kobe Port Tower. Clean, separate toilet and bathtub is a good design. Location is few minutes walk from Sannomiya station and it's a business area, so it's quiet at night.

Villa Fontaine Kobe Sannomiya offers modern rooms with free wired internet access. Free Wi-Fi is available at the 5th floor lobby. location is fantastic; room is clean and comfortable; setting happy hour time for guest to enjoy compliment drink at indoor or outdoor corner where guest could also take their takeaway food

Hotel Monte Hermana Kobe Amalie is a 3-minute walk from Sannomiya Hanshin Station and a 10-minute walk from the historical district of Kitano Ijinkan. Location is great, rooms are clean, with good amenities. Staffs were also helpful. Breakfast is adequate with good ingredient information on display.

My decision to stay here was influenced by a previous stay at Hotel Sui in Kobe which is the flagship hotel. That hotel had bigger rooms, a great location, and extremely helpful staff. Kanda location is very different. I've stayed in APA hotels many times and was thinking it would be a much different experience. It was and was not. The hotel itself was well-maintained and the free coffee/tea offered in the common lobby was a nice alternative to very small rooms. This hotel is just a tad better than an APA hotel experience.
