My stay at Hotel Ape Regina was perfect from start to end. I was greeted warmly and was made to feel very welcome during my stay by the friendly owners. Travelling alone I felt very safe and I was given a free room upgrade with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ischia. The hotel an be easily reached by local buses and is very quiet and provides a perfect place to watch the sunset go down with drinks and snacks available. Also I must mention the breakfast.. this has to be one of the best I've had during my travels in Italy. If you are thinking of booking you won't regret it!

Offering panoramic views and both indoor and outdoor pools, Grifo Hotel Charme & Spa is 1.5 km from Ischia Harbour. The thermal spas of Castiglione Parco Termale are just 500 metres away. The hotel has taxis to the center and the staff is very warm and helpful. Highly recommended

I had the most delightful stay here – a week went by too quickly, and I really wish I could have stayed a few more days! The staff is the most exceptional - they make you feel like family right away, and are always two steps ahead of each detail so that you can just relax and enjoy Ischia. The organized dinners each evening were one of my favorite memories, along with the coordinated shuttles to show you all parts of the island. I also enjoyed soaking in the thermal bath in the evenings before dinner. Looking forward to visiting again next summer and thank you Alberto + family for your generosity and hospitality!

Overlooking lush vegetation and the Tyrrhenian Sea, Hotel & Residence Matarese is 500 metres from the beach and port in Casamicciola Terme. Hotel Materese is located in Casamicciola, an excellent choice for visiting the wonderful island of Ischia, which is very central, with many restaurants, shops, beautiful beaches and other services. It is well served by public transport, taxis and has its own port. It is also a good place to stay as it is both peaceful and lively. The hotel itself is cute, has a wonderful garden with many beautiful plants and fruit trees (kiwi, lemon, orange, tangerines, peppers, fig tree, grapes... It also has its own restaurant where you can taste homemade dishes for breakfast (included) and dinner (optional). My room was located in the garden, so it was very quiet and intimate, with a very nice view of the sea. It was very large, comfortable, clean and well equipped. But above all, you absolutely have to stay at Hotel Materese because of Marianna and her family. They will do everything to make you feel unique and at home. Even before my arrival, she sent me tips to come easily. As I had to arrive in the morning before check-in time, she prepared the room early for me and welcomed me with good coffee and organic grapes from the garden (which is very precious after a long trip). She took the time to explain everything to me about the island, gave me lots of valuable advice (restaurants, activities...). It was not my first time in Ischia, but thanks to Marianna this time I was able to discover it very well and enjoy all the treasures of the island. She was also very caring with me and concerned about the smooth running of my stay (booking me activities, bringing me an umbrella when it was raining, preparing breakfast especially for me when it was already over...) . Thank you very much Marianna for everything, and I hope to be back soon!
