O’Vagnitiello, where do I start? If you’re thinking about booking this hotel, do yourself a favour and book it! My husband and I have travelled many places across the world and hands down this was our favourite resort we’ve stayed in. We stayed in May so the prices were reasonable and the weather was perfect for suntanning, swimming, and enjoying the thermal pools. When we arrived we were in aweh at how beautiful the property was. It is all ocean front up the cliff side which makes for easy access to the water and for stunning views. We payed for the room with the sea view/balcony and we are so glad we did. The breakfast was included delicious, they were kind enough to make us scrambled eggs as well. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind, we felt very cared for. The room was beautiful, clean, specious, and the bed/pillows were comfortable! Their restaurant food was very delicious, we ate there some nights and other nights we rented a scooter from the resort and explored the island or we walked up the hill into town. It’s not a long walk but some good hill walking to get used to. There is a really nice simple gym on the facility with a beautiful view as well. Staying at O’Vagnitiello felt very luxurious, having direct access to the thermal pools all day was so relaxing and conveniently steps from all the rooms. There were plenty of pools with different temperatures to choose from. The sauna, cold showers, ocean, paddle boards, and lounge chairs were also all there to add the the perfect experience. We are looking forward to visiting again one day!

Offering panoramic sea views from its hilltop position, Paradise Relais Villa Janto' is 2 km from Casamicciola Terme’s centre, on Ischia Island. The staff is insanely nice and helpful!! The pool, the view, the restaurant - amazing! We had a problem with our room and they changed it without any issues

Hotel Villa D’Orta is in Casamicciola Terme on the north shore of Ischia island. It offers a summer outdoor pool with panoramic views, a spa with Turkish bath, and an indoor hot tub. The staff were amazing. Michele and Titi were incredibly friendly and helpful and always went out of their way to help you out and show you around. The breakfast was great and the room was incredibly clean and the beds are super comfy! The balcony was also huge with a great view! I couldn’t recommend the hotel more and I will definitely be coming back!

With panoramic views over the Gulf of Napoli, Hotel La Madonnina is located in Casamicciola Terme. It offers a private beach, terraced gardens and free WiFi. Everything!!! The beach, the food, the rooms, the staff. All amazing. I really hope to go back soon.

Surrounded by woods and vineyards, the family-run Ape Regina is on a hill 5 minutes' drive from Casamicciola Terme. It offers an outdoor pool and WiFi in public areas. Giuseppe and Katerina are absolutely wonderful hosts.

Offering panoramic views and both indoor and outdoor pools, Grifo Hotel Charme & Spa is 1.5 km from Ischia Harbour. The thermal spas of Castiglione Parco Termale are just 500 metres away. Our stay in this beautiful property was wonderful, we will definitely return. The room was beautiful and spacious, bathroom great. The facilities at the hotel fantastic, great breakfast, wonderful swimming pools and the spa area. I loved my massage by Lucia! Enzo was great at the breakfast and in the evenings. We also really liked the shuttle service. All the staff were so extremely attentive and friendly that it sometimes actually felt too much! :D It was a fantastic stay.

Set in Ischia, 1.1 km from Il Fungo Beach, Hotel Villa Sirena - Thermae & SPA offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. 10/10 would recommend! I had the most delightful stay here – a week went by too quickly, and I really wish I could have stayed a few more days! The staff is the most exceptional - they make you feel like family right away, and are always two steps ahead of each detail so that you can just relax and enjoy Ischia. The organized dinners each evening were one of my favorite memories, along with the coordinated shuttles to show you all parts of the island. I also enjoyed soaking in the thermal bath in the evenings before dinner. Looking forward to visiting again next summer and thank you Alberto + family for your generosity and hospitality!

Hotel & Residence Matarese has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Ischia. With a bar, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Hotel Materese is located in Casamicciola, an excellent choice for visiting the wonderful island of Ischia, which is very central, with many restaurants, shops, beautiful beaches and other services. It is well served by public transport, taxis and has its own port. It is also a good place to stay as it is both peaceful and lively. The hotel itself is cute, has a wonderful garden with many beautiful plants and fruit trees (kiwi, lemon, orange, tangerines, peppers, fig tree, grapes... It also has its own restaurant where you can taste homemade dishes for breakfast (included) and dinner (optional). My room was located in the garden, so it was very quiet and intimate, with a very nice view of the sea. It was very large, comfortable, clean and well equipped. But above all, you absolutely have to stay at Hotel Materese because of Marianna and her family. They will do everything to make you feel unique and at home. Even before my arrival, she sent me tips to come easily. As I had to arrive in the morning before check-in time, she prepared the room early for me and welcomed me with good coffee and organic grapes from the garden (which is very precious after a long trip). She took the time to explain everything to me about the island, gave me lots of valuable advice (restaurants, activities...). It was not my first time in Ischia, but thanks to Marianna this time I was able to discover it very well and enjoy all the treasures of the island. She was also very caring with me and concerned about the smooth running of my stay (booking me activities, bringing me an umbrella when it was raining, preparing breakfast especially for me when it was already over...) . Thank you very much Marianna for everything, and I hope to be back soon!

Offering 2 outdoor pools and a free and well-equipped spa area with indoor pools, Kneipp therapy and a Turkish bath, the 4-star Poggio Aragosta is on the island of Ischia. From the moment we arrived in Ischia and were transported to the hotel via their courtesy bus we were looked after very well indeed. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful throughout. The meals were excellent and even though we were staying B&B we found the extra cost for evening meals was good value and cheaper than anything offered in the town. The wellness centre is top notch and clean with bathing in the thermal spa waters included. Various other treatments are available at extra cost which we enjoyed.. The room we stayed in had a patio with sea view and was conveniently close to the outside swimming pool and thermal plunge pool. All in all, we had a lovely week and intend returning again.
