I really appreciated the flexibility of the host. We arrived on a red-eyed flight super early in the morning. It also started pouring in the morning and all the stores were closed. We basically had no place to go. So I texted the owner of the property and asked if we could do an early check in. The owner quickly responded and let us checked in at 11:30am. Plus, the location of the place is very convenient. Super close to the grocery market and shopping center. We got to see the northern light at one night right on the balcony. The apartment is super clean. Would love to stay again next time in Iceland.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Reykjavík, Ubak Guesthouse is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. Location is fine, if you don't have your own transport, then the bus depot is across the road. There is also a supermarket and some food places as well. The communication by the hosts is great and the beds are very comfortable. We were here by ourselves, so cannot comment on the shared areas, but the bedrooms are quite spacious

Outstanding apartment, with very nice views over Reykjavik. Spacious, comfortable and very well equipped (TV, dishwasher...). The location is not very centric but this was not a problem for us, it is not far from the city center and the host provided us with private parking.

The rooms were very cosy and the heating was working perfectly. The kitchen is very well equipped. There were plenty of towels for everyone. The beds are comfortable.
