We simply felt welcome. As if we knew the owner, Erla, and she left the house for a while so that we could move in for our stay. The house was absolutely clean, nicely decorated, cosy, with comfortable beds, stylish furniture and generously equiped kitchen. It also has a terrace with a grill. The grocery shop is just a kilometer or so away, there is plenty room to park your car(s) in front of the house. We enjoyed our stay to the max.

Outstanding apartment, with very nice views over Reykjavik. Spacious, comfortable and very well equipped (TV, dishwasher...). The location is not very centric but this was not a problem for us, it is not far from the city center and the host provided us with private parking.

The host is friendly and met us at the door for check-in. The room is pretty tight, but we were able to fit all our things in. There was just one chair for the desk which made dinner for two a little difficult, but we were just grateful for access to a fridge and microwave -- eating out of the grocery store is so much cheaper than eating out for every meal! There is a Kronan (grocery) right across the street and it made our lives much easier. The (private) bathroom was clean enough, it's not hotel levels of clean but this is sharing someone's home, so for the type of accommodation we felt it was very nice. Overall, with Reykjavic being such an expensive area, we were really happy with our choice to stay here before heading out on our adventures.

Reykjavik Peace Center ligger i ett lugnt bostadsområde, 15 minuters bilresa från Reykjaviks centrum. Här erbjuds gratis Wi-Fi, gratis parkering och enkla rum med delat badrum. Härligt inrett hus där vi hade ett eget litet rum. Kök som var ganska gammalt och slitet men det som behövdes fanns. Skön säng med rena lakan. Allt bra. Nära till Netto där vi kunde handla det vi behövde.
