A small babbling brook borders the property so you have the relaxing sound of water all around. Thre is a also a pool which we didn't even try as we were so enchanted with the garden. The bungalow we had was richly decorated with gorgeous balinese textile curtains. What made this place truly special for us is the welcome and service Marc and Ericka (owners) gave us : they not only organized a Mt Ijen excursion for us but a fantastic massage by Aini. In the restaurant, son Ricco is a talented cook and the food was excellen... Best breakfast pancakes on and out of Bali!

We arrived late without dinner and they brought us a snack and a delicious welcome drink. We felt right at home instantly. The location is absolute perfection with a beautiful farm where all of the produce for your breakfast comes from. The house itself is impeccably decorated in a traditional-meets-modern style (for Indonesia) and the sounds of frogs and insects will lull you to sleep. Consider spending 2 full days here, it’s more than a stop over to visit Ijen Mountain. The walks through the rice fields and villages are among the best we’ve experienced. 12/10 would recommend.

Ali and his wife are very friendly and helpful. We came without a car, and they let us borrow a motorcycle, cooked for us, brought us tea often, and shared stories about sulphur mining. My family enjoyed seeing the chickens, goats, and even a rabbit and cat that played together! We also enjoyed the Sendang Seruni swimming area that is a one kilometer walk from their place. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

It was a real pleasure to sit and enjoy a coffee on my private terrace overlooking the magnificent tropical landscape. This beautiful hotel is truly hidden. You have to drive through little villages and tropical surroundings to arrive at the hotel. A truly natural place to stay, the open-air restaurant and swimming both overlook the rice terraces. My villa was spacious and tastefully decorated in Javanese style, #janetstravelstyle
