Boasting spectacular views of the city’s skyline, Bishop Lei International House features an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Check in and out was quick and the staff were friendly. The room is a good size for Hong Kong and very comfortable. The single room had a desk, TV, good sized bathroom, fridge and wardrobe. The shower worked well with good pressure and hot water. There is a kettle with tea/coffee in the room. The air con worked well. The bed and pillow were comfortable. Thw room was clean and, although fairly old, was in good shape and cared for. The pool looked nice and a good addition for hotter months. Being at mid-level has a few advantages in that there are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. There are also some sights like Man Mo temple and botanical gardens. You can walk up the Peak from here using the Old Peak Road. While the walk to central MTR isn’t far in general, if you want to go out in the morning, go back for a rest, then go out again it can get tiring going up and down the mid level escalator or steps. There is a free shuttle bus down to Hong Kong station (next to central) you could take instead. I did a lot of extra steps just getting to/from the hotel! A few very close cafes and restaurants to the hotel are below: Western: South Lane, Feather & Bone, Blend & Grind, Pacific Coffee, Phoenix pub, Chinese/Local: Mid-level cafe, Jennifers Overall I’d recommend Bishop Lei and would stay again!

Located about a 20-minute walk from Peak Tram and Central Station, Garden View Hong Kong provides well-appointed rooms with lovely views. It offers comfortable guest rooms with ample natural light. We loved everything about it! The location was amazing, the staff was friendly, helpful, and punctual.
