Hotel Royal Palace in Guatemala features 3-star accommodations with a restaurant and a bar. The location is absolutely perfect, right on the middle of the historical zone. If you get a room with a balcony, just make sure you have earplugs because the street is quite noisy, but this is part of the experience! The staff were wonderful, and they directed us to the Dollar City just down the street where we were able to buy earplugs. The restaurant is great too. Everything was clean and the staff tend to your room daily. The rooms are colonial-style, with high ceilings. The property is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location in Zona 1, clean, felt secure, very nice and helpful staff. It has a small restaurant/snack place in the lobby that many other guests used and seemed happy with.

Free wifi. Quiet. Secure. Friendly staff. Hot shower, fresh sheets/towels. They even clean the comforters between guests. Next to steam train museum. Nice courtyard area.

Great location, clean rooms with all essentials. I stayed in this hotel two times - two nights separated, and was placed in two different rooms, both rooms were good. Guys at the front desk were super helpful with my requests - huge thanks to them!

The Location was best. Close to the Historical District, The Palace, 6th Avenue Street and the main central market. The restaurants and coffee shops were within walking distance. The Staff were really friendly and gave me appropriate guidance on what is nearby and best coffee shop.
