Set in the former publishing house of Tbilisi, Stamba Hotel – lauded as a flawless fusion of vintage and contemporary, is a living, breathing reflection of the city’s growing global significance. The whole character of the property and attention to detail in its decor just had me spellbound. I have stayed all over the world but never at a property that is so unique in design and decor. The layout of the room with the bathtub, the book shelves (and choice of books), the lovely retro style espresso machine and the well thought out bar with all bar tools and even a booklet with cocktail recipes, everything was just so unique and tasteful.

The staff and owner of the hotel are very friendly and welcoming, a special mention to Mary who was there when we checked in. Mary ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay, she was very helpful with advice and suggestions for our long weekend in Tblisi. My husband and I were treated to celebratory drinks on our 10th Wedding Anniversary which was a beautiful touch. The hotel is very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend Barnovi Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Tblisi.
