Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. The historical building made this hotel very interesting. I especially like how they kept some ex prison cells for exhibit. The hotel room itself has high ceiling and is bigger than other hotel rooms we stayed at in Helsinki. What really shone was the staff, everyone was friendly and very helpful! They also provide 2 meals and 1 afternoon tea included in your hotel price. If I had known that earlier, I would’ve stayed the whole week here instead of Airbnb. 6 stars out of 5 for the service!

Very nice and new hotel with the very bright, modern and minimalistic interior. Hotel is situated in the centre of Helsinki. The hotels staff is very good but I have to give extra recommendation to Ms Paivi, receptionists supervisor as she was always extremely polite and efficent.

The unit reminded me of a very upscale dorm. I had my sleeping, sitting and cooking area and it was conveniently located near the City Center.

Located by the waterfront of Katajanokka, Scandic Grand Marina is housed in 1920s Art Nouveau building and offers free WiFi, sauna, gym and a 24-hour on-site shop. Brez pripomb na vse, nastanitev, soba, osebje, lokacija. Za ceno nastanitve dobiš več, kot pričakuješ.

How accesible it was to the rest of the city and well connected. I liked that it felt cozy and the hotel and room well super well equipped.

Great location (especially if you’re travelling on Viking Line). Supermarket, liquor store, cafe, pizzeria and bar downstairs. Nice touches like artisanal chocolate on arrival, yoga mats, camera (!), and charging cables for your devices.

Located on Helsinki’s Katajanokka island, surrounded by the sea, this hostel is a 5-minute tram ride from the city centre. Vyökatu Tram Stop is just around the corner. Glede na tip namestitve so bila pričakovana izpolnjena. Namen je bila samo prehodna nočitev s poznim prihodom in za odhod na zgodnji jutranji trajekt
