Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, the elegant Wellington Hotel in Madrid’s Salamanca district is just 100 metres from Retiro Park. The breakfast buffet was excellent as was the service if you requested a la carte. The hotel has a great location, excellent staff and we were very happy to stay there.

The elegant Rosewood Villa Magna offers exclusive rooms and suites in Madrid’s fashionable Salamanca area. The hotel boasts a spa, marble bathrooms and views onto Serrano Street or Castellana Avenue. pure 5* hotel experience. All was perfect ( except the breakfast and breakfast service level that was poor). All the rest of the hotel is very beautiful and the location is perfect.

I loved the location, close to Parque El Retiro in the upscale Salamanca neighborhood, it was walking distance to El Prado, several churches and some great shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of dishes to choose from and good service. Fresh orange juice, diverse fresh fruit, organic coffee and a selection of breads, cheese, cereals and milk to choose from.
