Loved the different menu for meals each day and using the boat to travel between the two sides of Luxor. The hotel arranged a driver for us and Marina gave us the best advise on what to see. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with amazing views.

Wonderful view from rooftop terrace and lunch options at rooftop restaurant. Excellent air conditioning. Location: right off the public ferry dock. Near small stores, pharmacy etc. It’s Egypt don’t expect an immaculate and all new building for this bargain price.

Luxor Old Nile Hotel features a restaurant, bar, a garden and private beach area in Luxor. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service, free WiFi and parking space. This was one of the best stays I have had with Booking.com. Mostafa, the owner of the hotel, provided us with the best hospitality. He made sure that we arrived safely, and always made sure everything was going well with the stay. He provided some great welcome lemon juice and teas. He organized us wonderful food (the best was the soup and the cheese!), and all of it was prepared by his wonderful family. At the hotel, there is also an incredible view of the Old Nile River, and if you are lucky you can even see some alligators. He also recommended great itineraries for us during our stays here. When we come back to Luxor, we will be sure to stay with him again. Highly recommend for all friends, family members and strangers.

Located in Luxor, Jewel Howard Carter Hotel “Howard Carter Guest House “offers luxury accommodations. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas and Luxor Temple is 2.2 km away. We loved the Jewel Howard Carter hotel. It was super clean, with new room forniture, sheets and buildings. Also, they changed the table clothes of the restaurant everyday. The food was good, but you need to like the Egyptian food. Two Belgian tourists did not like the "sandwich" bread because they expected the classic french baguette but actually they serve the the naan/pita bread. We like it so it did not bother us. The concierges were very nice, they upgraded our room for free because I contacted them the day before asking for a Nile view room. They did not have any problem with us booking directly a private boat or a car without passing through them. I really liked this professional way of working. This is how local economy flourishes. The biggest issue in Egypt is finding reasonable prices for services because EVERYBODY tries to do the middle men gaining money on behalf of poor drivers which receives practically nothing for their precious services. Also, they never asked for tips, that's why we left them the change when we payed the restaurant bill. To be even more professional I would suggest to put in the room a price list of car and boat tours with the direct contact of the drivers so the guests would not feel exploited. The location was amazing! Very fresh and quiet! The best place for bird watching if you walk south and reach the closest boath pier (50meters). I saw purple herons, hoopoes, and so on!

Located directly next to Madinet Habou Temple, Nour El Balad is located in Luxor. Wi-Fi access is available. It offers mud brick houses with cosy and traditional rooms nestled in a palm grove. Authenticity-Set amongst the Theban hills and Nile agricultural area. Simple, cosy, mud brick cottage with nice garden and rooftop to enjoy the panoramic views. Abdul is super friendly and can help with whatever you need. We booked a hot air balloon tour through him. He is also an excellent chef and the home cooked meals we had at Nour El Balad was the best food we had in Egypt. Duck, chicken, kofta were all superb.

The atmosphere is perfect The rooms are comfortable and lovely furnished The staff is super helpful, friendly, and attentive Their are many calmy spaces for hanging around If you would like to see all the attractions around: ask Mahmoud - he can help you with the best guides (in many languages)

This air-conditioned hotel is in the Theban Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Firstly I was impressed by the decoration and design of the hotel, it is very authentic and pretty, a very good place to stay in the historical city Luxor. Secondly, the owner Sayed and his staff was so helpful and friendly, the owner is a gentle and humble man, I am biased towards him. Then the food was so nice, we had a dinner extra to the breakfast, so good. 好吃，中国人不骗中国人。 Lastly the location is fabulous, it’s so close to the main sites. We had a very pleasant time there, my family and friends love it so much.
