El Hotel Mirage, de gestión familiar, goza de una ubicación céntrica en el casco antiguo de Duisburgo, a tan solo 500 metros del puerto. Nice and clean location near the highway to stop during a long trip across Germany. We could park our car for free in a fenced area near the hotel. We had a superb wiener schnitzel in Webster Brauhaus, which is located a few hundreds meters from the hotel! Really worth the walk!

The hotel is very close to the trainstation. From there it is easy and a short way to Dusseldorf Airport. There are many restaurants neary the hotel where you can go for dinner. The person at the check-in desk was fast and friendly. The room is perfect and so was the shower. There was enough place to accomodate 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 3 years old). The breakfast is SUPERB: so many choices for healthy and tasty things, nice fresh fruits (also strawberries for example) and real (so no Chinese fake) honey. I would really recommend to include breakfast for this hotel.
