Situated directly beside the MediaPark in Cologne, the Motel One Köln-Mediapark offers modern rooms with free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. Cologne Cathedral is only 1.3 km from the property. Balcony room, location, room facilities were modern and nice. I’m forgetting the name of the Thai bartender whom I spoke Thai with, but she was so knowledgeable and friendly. My friends and I really enjoyed seeing her at the bar the nights we went there for a late drink.

This unique hotel is located in a building with six floors which was once Europe’s tallest building. The Premier Inn Köln City Mediapark offers spacious rooms. Very nice room. Comfortable and for a short and for a long stay. Good location - close to the centre.

This historic 4-star hotel in Cologne is set in a former music museum. It offers quiet rooms, classical ceilings and wall paintings, and good transport links. Very nice, large, comfortable room hotel in a very nice area. I paid about $120/night in June, 2023. A 15/20 minute nice walk along the river to the train station and the cathedral. Very good staff at the hotel. Nice breakfast.
