This hotel opposite Cologne's Lanxess Arena offers a unique mix of historic and modern architecture and good transport links. The Hotel Stadtpalais is set in a protected historic building. This is the best place I've stayed in so far in Köln. Right in front of Lanxess Arena, not far from the center (30 min walk to the main train station). Very comfortable, quiet and with an amazing included breakfast (both the place and buffet are awesome)

Offering great views of the Cologne Cathedral and gourmet cuisine, this stylish business hotel is located in central Cologne directly beside the River Rhine. It was a great placed, great hotel. Everthing was great especially breakfast. You will find whatever you look for.

We attended a concert and the arena was right across the street. So convenient for a late night. It’s been warm again in Sept and the AC was nice to have. It worked great.

Zur guten Quelle is a guest house is located in Cologne, 500 metres from Cologne Fairgrounds and 400 metres from LANXESS Arena. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. This is a beautiful little gem. Walking distance to the bridges, and very close to public transportation. We also enjoyed the restaurants on this side of the river. The room and bathroom were really large and beautifully decorated. Staff was wonderful.
