We found the Don Giovanni to be first rate. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the breakfasts memorable (eliminating the need to stop for lunch!) and the room perfectly appointed. We dined twice in the cafe and want to complement staff members Maria and Simon, whose service was prompt and efficient. They are both charming young people. Not surprising -- the food as excellent and the portions just right. I find that restaurants often serve clients much too much. One small observation: perhaps the music in the lift could be changed more frequently. It was Mozart's clarinet concerto for three days running. A splendid piece to be sure but there are others to choose as well.

Located just a 15-minute walk from Prague’s Old Town, Hotel Ostas offers a restaurant and rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The closest tram stop is just round the corner. The property looks new. It’s pretty clean and beds are comfy. It’s quiet so no noise from outside nor from the rooms around us. The receptionists were very nice. It’s not too close to the center, but not too far either so we didn’t mind the walk.

The centrally located Courtyard by Marriott Prague City is located opposite a famous shopping mall and a metro station. It features a 24-h lobby market and a 24-h fitness room. The hotel was worth the money we paid. The room was spacious, clean and with good lighting. The breakfast buffet was superb with a great vatriety of both hot and cold dishes. The hotel was very close to a metro station and also a non touristy mall with a good food court and a good supermarket.

Ariston Hotel offers elegantly furnished rooms with attached bathroom close to Vitkov Park, within walking distance to Prague's center. There is free Wi-Fi access in the rooms. It’s a historical therefore old but very cosy hotel, great value of money, breakfast is simple and very tasty. Location is awesome, you won’t even need to use any transport to reach the main sightseeings. Everything is within walking distance. Staff is nice especially the housekeeper ladies. Heating works perfectly if you’re willing to book it for winter.

This independently-owned Hotel Golden City Garni in the well-preserved area of Zizkov, close to the center of the city, is a great base for exploring Prague. Everything was perfect. If I ever travel back to Prague I’m definitely staying here again!
