Set in Cartagena de Indias and within a few steps of La Boquilla Beach, Markasa Hotel boutique features a private beach area, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Markasa is more than a hotel, it is a home away from home. We had arranged an airport pick-up for our arrival, and were greeted by David, the owner, and immediately we were put at ease by his warm and kind ways. Upon arrival at Markasa, a warm Colombian coffee was waiting for us and we went upstairs to settle in to our room before taking a walk on the beach. Our room was impeccably clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were also very impressed by the excellent selection of TV options, with full access to both Netflix and Prime Video. An amazing home cooked breakfast is available (at an excellent price), we are very grateful to Sandra for her kindness and cooking. During our stay, David was available 24/7 to help us with anything we needed, including dinner delivery, transportation, information, and even coming with us to a nearby restaurant to make sure that we were treated like locals. We have so many positive things to say, but ultimately the most essential thing is that David, Carmen and Sandra made us feel like we were family.  The cherry on top was having our hearts warmed every day by Milagros, one of the sweetest dogs you will meet.

Hotel Summer offers beachfront accommodation in Cartagena de Indias, a few steps from Centro de Convenciones Las Americas and 1 km from Rafael Nuñez Airport. Summer is a simple but very fair hotel. People are very friendly and helpful, especially the ladies at the front desk. The hotel has everything I value: cleaners, confort, helpful staff and a fair price. It has a nice pool with a bar in the top floor, which made all the difference. The food is amaizing and the cookers and attendants are super sweet. The location is good if you want to stay close to the Airport.

Las Americas Torre del Mar is a luxurious beach complex boasting a beachfront location in north Cartagena upon La Boquilla Beach. I love the atmosphere, location, view of the waterfront

Las Americas Casa de Playa is a tropical beachfront complex located in northern Cartagena. The hotel was really clean and had loads of food choices if you didn't want to venture out. The rooms were big and had great air conditioning. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The kids' play area was great for our little one to move around on non-hard floors. There were plenty of pools with space to lay. It was super easy to check in and out. The taxi ride from the hotel to the airport cost 20k peso.

Soy Local Coco Beach features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Cartagena de Indias. Providing a bar, the property is located within a few steps of La Boquilla... The staff - every encounter was wonderful from my initial text and in-person communications with the concierge at the front desk, check-in, bar, restaurant, the meals, the drinks, the smiles... The way I was treated, I felt like I owned the place! I especially enjoyed my breakfast each morning, the engaging conversations with various members of the staff (fun labor translating back and forth with lots of smiles), the grilled whole fish dinner and the careful preparation of all 17 Pina Coladas I ordered across 5 days... Very personalized, very professional, very happy environment.

Ideally located in the La Boquilla district of Cartagena de Indias, Hotel Boutique Casa Mar is set 600 metres from La Boquilla Beach, less than 1 km from Crespo Beach and 7.1 km from Cartagena's... Great location, Great room, great staff. It's a gem of a spot only 10 min walk from the beach and a 10 min drive from the airport. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area

Amazing location right next to the beach, staff was very friendly and no aggressive salesmen like you find in the centre of the city I recommend getting dinner at this hotel, it was clear the chef has a passion for cooking and used healthy ingredients and the price was very fair Preferred it over a big hotel or an Air bnb
