The ambiance was so aesthetically pleasing. We didn’t have breakfast included however we purchased on two occasions which was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Every room is equipped with a minibar and a TV. we loved everything! the hospitality, the location, the breakfast! all the staff was so nice! they made us feel so so welcome and they made sure that they can help us in any way they can. they always booked taxis for us, even late at night. the room was super clean, comfy and bright and it is located in an area which is very central but not noisy. The breakfast was super good - totally recommend!

My partner and I had an excellent experience here. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, the breakfast was good, and the location can’t be beat, being in the middle of Getsemaní. All facilities are modern, nice and clean, the whole pool area is just great to hang out. Breakfast fast delicious, too. And above all, the staff is more than friendly and approachable, and legitimately eager to make you feel home.

During the day the beaches and tours occupy your time however in the evenings you want to be in Getsemani where everything becomes quite lively. The hotel is in an excellent location with a refreshing rooftop swimming pool, loungers and bar. We have stayed there several times In the past 3 years and have found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. Surprisingly, considering the nighttime activity, the rooms are quite, have good air conditioning allowing for a restful sleep. Thank you Kelly and staff for a wonderful stay as always.

Featuring a terrace, Akel House Hotel is located in Cartagena de Indias in the Bolivar region, 1.2 km from Marbella Beach and 2.1 km from Bocagrande Beach. The staff was so amazing and helpful. My flight was changed and I showed up at 830 am delirious after travelling, they were so so nice and let me check in early so I could rest while waiting for my friends to arrive. Also when we went to an island for a few days they let us keep some stuff there until our return. They whole staff was so friendly and helpful. Place was clean and breakfast was great. Definitely recommend and would stay again. It’s also in a great location

The hotel has a good location, although the very street where it sits can look a little sketchy at night. We never had a problem though and it didn't feel unsafe. The check in was smooth and they even stored our luggage for a few hours after we checked out. The breakfast was really good and the people were really nice.
