Being a very frequent traveller I do not manage to write reviews anymore, unless there is a very special experience (in either way of the satisfaction direction). The stay at Casona del Porvenir was definitely such, which stands out and will be remembered for a long time! I could even say that this might have been one of the best hotels, I have ever stayed at. The whole positive experience begins with the moment of booking, since which the hotel team makes you feel welcome already. This feeling persists throughout the entire stay. It is not about any specific luxury of the hotel, but about the little details, which matter the most - from the nice little gestures of attentiveness of the staff, through a sense of detail in the design of the place, to a cozy and comfortable feeling throughout the hotel (just to mention the unbelievably friendly inner patio seating spaces with constant fresh fruits refill, the super comfortable bed and pillows, the different lighting ambience, the very efficient (minimalist, but effective) room space creation). In each case, the team responsible for running the hotel know what they are doing. They do it right and deserve all possible respect for it! If there only were more such projects around the world ...

The hotel is beautiful and comfy, the whole personal stuff is really kind and always trying to give you the best.

The Amarla is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the walled city. It was so lovely and charming. We stayed in the suite with 2 rooms and a library which was fabulous with a balcony. The rooftop pool was small but perfect for cooling off in the hot afternoon. We had it to ourselves. The staff were amazing.

Bastión Luxury Hotel is a property located in the center of Cartagena de Indias. The hotel's rooms are equipped with a wardrobe, flat-screen TV, private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, bedding, and towels. it was our last day at Cartagena and we chose this hotel to relax. we were so right! the spa rituals and treatments were amazing and Sandra was a darling! we could not have been more relax and well rested after a 5 day trip of dancing all night long. the staff was great and super helpful, they even let us into the breakfast buffete ahead of time so could be in the airport on time. they even offered if we wanted to have it boxed “to go” so we could have it calmly at the airport. we had dinner at the restaurant El Gobernador and it was great! entres are a good size but beware main courses are large 😂 we were stuffed before dessert. overall great experience

Offering an outdoor pool, Hotel Boutique Casa del Coliseo is located in Cartagena de Indias, a 5-minute drive from the beach. It offers free WiFi. The service was absolutely amazing, Martin and Cristian help us with everything. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The location is perfect for all activities in downtown Cartagena, there are great restaurants and bars nearby (ask the staff for recommendations)
