Set in Cartagena de Indias, a few steps from Bocagrande Beach, Hyatt Regency Cartagena offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. We spend 5 amazing days in this hotel. We did chose to upgrade our room on our arrival (junior suite to residency suite). BEST CHOICE EVER. We did get the room 3902 (on the 39th floor) which is located at one of the corners of the hotel. The room had a balcony and an amazing view on the sea side but we also had the view of the bay(bedroom window). Definitely the best room. We had breakfast and a little snack (free drinks and snacks from 16h-18h) in the afternoon included. The infinity pool on the 14th floor was definitely our favorite spot. From here you have an amazing view of the sunset. The food in the hotel is really good too. Special thanks to Fernanda who daily served us with drinks and food. A special thanks also to Mayra from the reception, who helped us to choose the right excursions. We were allowed to keep our room on check out day until 15h. Which allowed us to enjoy fully the whole morning. As our flight was really late in the afternoon, we were allowed to stay at the pool and use the special lockers with showers to enjoy some more hours in the sun. Special feature is the drying machine for swimsuit in these locker. The location of the hotel was also great. In front is a big beach and the old town is like a 15 min walk. Next to the hotel is also a big shopping mall. I definitely recommend this hotel! Thanks to the whole Hyatt team!

The receptionists speak English and I do not have difficulties to communicate. The staff are helpful. The location is near the beach, resto and shopping area.

Boasting a charming terrace with a pool, Hotel Balovento is set in a modern building in the Bocagrande neighborhood, just 2 blocks from the beach. Free WiFi and parking are available. Hotel is very modern. The food was really good and the attention from all the staff was amazing. Great bedrooms, bathrooms were super clean. We had a wonderful experience.

A few minutes walk from the beach. Lots of cafés, restaurants and bars nearby. Laundry service available. Room cleaned and fresh towels every day - did not expect such great service for the price!

Located in Bocagrande, this Cartagena de Indias Mintaka Hotel + Lounge features free WiFi and a minibar in every room. The hotel is 130 m from the beach and 400 m from Cartagena Plaza. Ricardo is very nice, helpful and welcoming. Excellent location, very clean, comfortable, fare price! Highly recommandable

Offering an outdoor pool, Holiday Inn Express Bocagrande is located in Cartagena de Indias. Free WiFi access, a business centree and free private parking are available. The staff was great, always willing to help. Location was good too, close enough to the Cartagena pier to catch boats to the islands and to the historical center and also far enough from it if you want a quiet location.

The Intercontinental is a luxurious hotel located right on the beach in Cartagena’s popular Bocagrande area. It features an on-site restaurant. Honestly, there isn’t much to fault. We stayed 5 nights and loved every minute. Our room was large, spacious and very clean. We used the bath tub every single day. The view to the beach was amazing. Breakfast was perfect with everything you could ask for, including the best breakfast soup. We booked a room on the higher floors and had club lounge access every day, which we made use of and loved. There was happy hour every evening from 6-8pm where we enjoyed a glass of wine and a snack while watching the sunset. It was so lovely and our toddler loved it too. She looked forward to it every day. There was so much to eat that we hardly needed dinner afterwards! The ceviche was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance, or there are taxis right outside when you need them. We had to check out at 5am and there was already a taxi outside. The food in the restaurant by the pool was also very good and arrived quickly. Service was good there as well. If we ever end up in Cartagena again, I won’t hesitate booking this hotel. It was an absolute pleasure staying here. I used the gym every day in the morning and was almost always alone. It has everything one needs for a decent workout including a full wrack of weights and a water filter to fill up your bottle.
