The staff are young and very friendly and they offer free coffee coupons. The rooms are decently sized and the hotel is new. Location is quite convenient and is 10 min taxi ride to big pagoda, shaanxi museum and south gate of xian wall.

The hotel is located less than 10 min by walk from Yongningmen Station; run by the main line which connects to Xi’an North train station (45 min). The hotel is newly refurbished, no lift but they only have 1 floor. There is a laundry area, where you can use the washing machine and dryer for free, and they even provide you with the detergents. Ventilation is amazing, as well as water pressure. The rooms are smoking rooms, but you can’t really tell because you can’t smell cigarettes. The manager was really nice, he offered us free ride to the attractions; continuously checking if we were fine and if we need anything; he even give us a gift.

Ideally located in the heart of historical Xi’an, the gorgeous Xi'an Dajing Castle Hotel is around a 5-minute stroll from Yongning Gate, the south gate of the ancient city wall. Very helpful and friendly staff who helped us with our stay. Went the extra mile to look out for a delivery package which was due to arrive even after we checked out from the hotel. Good comms between the team. The proximity.to the metro was also excellent! Would definitely stay at the hotel again.
