The added perk is direct quick access to both terminals of Hongqiao Airport by Metro Line 10 - the airport is infamous for being difficult to get from by taxi due to grumpy drivers reluctant to provide short rides which aren't worth the long wait at the arrival area. Breakfast is plentiful, rooms are clean, the staff is helpful, and the hotel belongs to a well-established international brand that is foreigner-friendly. Very smooth check-in and check-out process. The hotel isn't really close to any of the historical areas in the City or famous landmarks - but it's a perfect base if you visit Shanghai for business, visiting family or just to chill. The interesting mix of the bustling community housing blocks and some of Shanghai's most affluent neighborhoods nearby, and the food and shopping scene resulting from the mix is the defining character of the city.

Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao Central is centrally located at Shanghai Hongqiao District and it is 1476 feet from Metro Line 2 and 15 Loushanguan Road Station. Everything. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We were aiming for a relaxing holiday and the hotel is really perfect for everthing. The front desk was friendly! Breakfast was rich in variety.

Most conveniently located in the heart of energetic Hongqiao, Radisson Collection Hotel, Yangtze Shanghai is a mere 30-minute drive from the National Exhibition and Convention Center and the... Very well managed hotel. In a vibrant part of the city, not too far from the city centre but with enough things locally to enjoy. Service was excellent. The room was exactly as described, with an impressive range of tv channels, including some good western ones. Amenities excellent. Including plush bar (with evening live music) situated in the lobby close to the entrance, a swimming pool, a couple of restaurants, and even an international exchange rate ATM. Breakfast superb. Loads of great food on offer, a really nice big seating area and exceptionally well managed. Using this app, I was granted the choice of a late (14:00) checkout, which I didn't take, but it was nice to have that option. Directly opposite the hotel across the main road, is a Japanese food street with at least a dozen restaurants and bars on it! Car parking available out front, and also taxis are on hand if required. Perfect stay, glad to have chosen this hotel. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.

Located within 4.8 miles of Jing'an Temple and 5.8 miles of Jade Buddha Temple, Atour Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao International Exhibition Beixinjing provides rooms with air conditioning and a private... This is a sort of hipster fashion hotel on the west side of Shanghai, Beixinjing district. It is VERY convenient to a line 2 metro station (literally feet away). It can also be reached quickly (and cheaply if you take the metro) from Hongqiao Airport and Hongqiao rail station, which serves high speed trains coming from the west. (Note however that most international flights land in Pudong airport, not Hongqiao.) Good restaurants and convenience stores nearby also (McDonald's, Yoshinoya among many others). Rooms are spacious and modern with very high quality cotton sheets, a bit unusual for China. Shower/bathroom was excellent. Room was cleaned scrupulously and the hotel was quiet despite heavy traffic right outside. It was fun watching the robot trundle around.
