Jayson was a fantastic host. My dad had a fall and he personally escorted us to the hospital and stayed with us throughout. We were very touched by his sincerity and grateful for his help. He also planned our day tour to chengkan and huangshan and the package was reasonably priced. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fulfilling and a good mix of western and chinese food. Everyone in the hotel was kind and approachable. We felt very welcome. I would give it a score of 11!

Welcoming staff, which do his best to help even if not english speaking (traduction apps helped ). They are patient and find a solution. An excellent value for money ! Thank you, don’t change anything

The house was adorable in a great location and very nice. Highly recommend for anyone in tunxi or huangshan area.

El Huangshan Old Street Courtyard está situado en la histórica Tunxi Ancient Street, en una antigua casa de ladrillos y madera. I was delighted with my stay. The experience of a hotel is obviously different than staying at this traditional house (e.g. colder, less comfy bed etc.) but this only added to the authentic charm. The position is fantastic, as I had my balcony on the high street. Clean environment. Loved the bed warmer. Communication with the host was superb in helping out with getting around the city. Would recommend to everyone. Great breakfast too.

El Old Street International Youth Hostel está muy bien situado en la antigua calle Tunxi y ofrece habitaciones privadas y compartidas con conexión de wifi gratis. It was wonderful to stay in an old house on Gulangyu. I especially enjoyed the breakfasts--simple, delicious, and served in a wonderfully cozy room full of plants and small animals. The small staff has a nice human touch. Great all around! I also liked that the windows were operable, and that there were several outdoor patios to enjoy the balmy weather.
