Set just about a 5-minute drive from Reed Flute Cave, 2 km from the centre of Guilin City, The Beyond Villa Guilin sits close to Taohua River and is surrounded by greenery and silence neighbourhood. The property was located very nicely in a little village within the city. The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated with good beds, a great bathroom. Who impressed most was the host! She was super friendly and always willing to help us out on how to spend our days. And she cooks a delicious breakfast every morning!

I really appreciated help with tours. The tea set in the window area was a nice surprise. Could just sit there and watch people passing by while drinking very delicious tea.

Apart from the comfortable accommodation and friendly staff, I would like to commend Jenny, the English tour assistant. She is not only responsive but also gave us advice on how to go about touring Guilin, help us book the Lijiang tour, etc. The hotel is also excellently located just a minute's walk to the pedestrian street and a walkable distance to Jing Jiang Prince palace, both places at which we bought a lot of their unique local snacks. So, if I visit Guilin again, I would definitely stay here again. The buffet breakfast is also affordable and nice. Not a lot of selection for vegetarians but enough.
