A hotel of great historical significance and beautiful design. Family room was well equipped with child friendly gadgets, including play area outside. Room size is generious, clean, toiletries supplied. Staff was helpful. Dim sum (alacarte) resturants provides great varieties and value (before 1030) asides to buffet (which might get a little crowded). 15 mins walk Beijing Road. 5 mins to Mcdonald, Subways, Starbucks etc. Buggy services between two blocks.

Only a 5-minute stroll from Ouzhuang Subway Station (Exit E) or Taojin Subway Station (Exit A), Ocean Hotel offers well-appointed rooms with spacious layouts, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. I am delighted with everything: the room, the food and the hotel in general! They provided improved apartments instead of the ones we had booked. Careful room cleaning, rich buffet, helpful staff and impeccable interiors! If I'm going to Guangzhou again, I'll stay there.

Very posh and good experience for relatively small amount of money. Really liked the stay. Bug bones - stuff that actually speaks English. Breakfast was amazing, maybe best i had, but very much asian. Best hotel we stayed in China for sure.
