Well situated in Beijing, Beijing Le Zai Nan Luo Gu Xiang Wang Fu Jing Forbidden City Courtyard Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Exceptional property with a designer courtyard you won’t find anywhere in Beijing. The staff was very attentive and polite, most knew English quite well. The rooms are spacious, warm and cozily lit. Floors and beds were heated, which was especially nice on colder November days. Breakfasts were held in a quaint cafe with a second-floor terrace. Everyday it was a mix of Chinese and European-style dishes, and of course, dumpling soup. Various homemade teas available throughout the day for free, up until night. During check-in, there was a small inconvenience in our twin room, so we were freely upgraded to a gorgeous family loft with a private balcony. If you’re traveling as a group, this room should be the one to go. We left happy and recharged, ready for our next destination. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Le Zài Nanluo Hotel whenever we come to Beijing.

Conveniently set in the centre of Beijing, Beijing Tangfu Nanluoguxiang Wang Fu Jing Forbidden City Boutique Hotel &Free Laundry &Welcome Coffee with Tour Ticket Service is within 1.6 km of Shichahai... I booked this hotel last minute- I came in and was greeted by the nicest, kindest receptionists! There was always one staff member who spoke English and even when one of them did not speak great English, she still communicated efficiently with me using translation apps. Every single staff member was so kind and one even helped me carry bags to my room. They truly went above and beyond and were spectacular. Despite my last minute booking, they upgraded my room to a larger room with a terrace and tea nook. I was blown away at how clean, new, and comfortable this hotel was. It was safe, quiet, and lovely. The bathroom was so clean, updated, and everything smelled like green tea as that is the scent of their soaps. The location is also great as it is situated right in the middle of a well known hutuong. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you'll be in Beijing!

Location right in the center of Beijing's old town, perfect for exploring the city. The hotel is clean, the decor is top notch, the meals and breakfasts are excellent.The staff are also professional and friendly, special mention to the night guard staff and the cats. :)

Ideally set in Beijing, Houhai Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Staff were very helpful, great central location in old town, away from busy streets but has a bar district nearby. It was amazing in the sense that we woke up early with my husband and felt safe walking around at 4-5 am around the area. Breakfast was good with much choice, but for European traveller need to get used to breakfast having a choice as for lunch a little bit. The room was comfortable and the hotel was very nice overall.

Well located in the centre of Beijing, The East Hotel-Very close to the Drum Tower, The Lama Temple, Houhai Bar Street, and the Forbidden City, There are many old Beijing traditional hutongs around... The staff were SUPER helpful despite our limited Mandarin. The location is very convenient to the Forbidden City. This venue is a trendy and historical part of the city. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Free coffee and hot water in the lobby.
