Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. Bus was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, room was tidy. Half board menu was great, everyone should try.

Fabulous location, close to the forrest. We enjoyed two snowy days, so the proximity to the forrest was very welcomed. The host was so kind to us and available for assistance and guidance. The apartment is simply wonderful. Spacious, well equipped, with more than you can reasonably expect. The sitting area is big and cosy and with an amazing view. It was a great experience. I would love to go back.

Location is great, easy to find and easy on public transport. Charming authentic hotel with great and clearly very popular restaurant downstairs. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, basic, but we knew that. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.
