The location was handy for walking to and from the city, and the attractions that I wanted to see … it is close to the river and a lot of scenic places to see and walk around.. Bern is quite hilly so for moving about with luggage, a taxi or bus is suggested …

Max Aviation Villa & Apartments is located in Bern and offers free WiFi access and a terrace. Shuttle services can be arranged upon request and for a surcharge. Nicely located place with all the things you may need. The room is relatively small (we had a violet one), but still very comfortable. One bathroom per two rooms. Nice and friendly hosts. You get a city transport ticket included in your booking for the duration of your stay (and some extra hours after it, probably till the end of your check-out day)

The whole apartment is in a beautiful haussmannien family house with a very green private garden. The apartment is not far from the center of Bern, a few minutes by bus. It has a perfect isolation from noise and heat, and therefore very comfortable to live in. My kid also enjoys a lot the garden. The host is friendly, and helpful. They have left many lovely notes in the apartment that could help you navigate in Bern.
