The location was perfect and we were lucky enough to spend New Year’s Eve in the hotel’s restaurant and had an amazing time!

The hotel’s design was really nice, stylish and consistent across every room. The attention to little details was amazing. There was a really spacious and comfortable library room for both reading and working if needed. There was even a sauna (although i haven’t tried yet). I like the separation between bathroom and shower room. All products used within the facility were good quality. The staff were super friendly and helpful. And the food at eater attached to the hotel was very delicious (for all dinner, breakfast and even late night snacks).

All facilities where absolutely great, and made my stay very comfortable! Room furnitures all very new. Last but not least, breakfast was very good, with a super fantastic location: roof top on the 6th floor! It all exceeded my expectations! Thank you!

Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. A fantastic small boutique hotel on edge of Basel old town. Easy to get to from airport or railway station. Reception staff, as with all the hotel staff, were hugely pleasant and welcoming. The room was faultless, modern, plenty of space, spotlessly clean. Absolutely top grade shower. Buffet breakfast was also top grade and once again the staff were so helpful, particularly the lady with spectacles. We travel extensively and It has been some time since we have stayed anywhere where we could find no fault whatsoever. The Passage is really one such very special hotel. We’d return in an instant!

Super quiet room (even though it was close to the elevator), friendly staff, great location, very nice sauna. I really couldn't have asked for anything more!
