The pictures don't do the pousada justice, it's beautiful. The pousada is in an old house that has been renovated by the owners. So if this is what you're looking for, it's perfect. The hosts, Nathalie and Marco are so accommodating and were great to talk to. Giving recommendations, and taking us to the local market where we wanted to visit. The cat even allowed our son to harass him! The pousada in Santo Antonio is close enough, but yet far enough from the Pelourinho and also is close to a pleasant street with lots of bars and restaurants.

Featuring a garden and views of city, Pousada Baluarte is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Salvador, 2.1 km from Praia do Canta Galo. It's a lovely place, centrally located. The room was really nice, the bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. Zelina was a great host. Breakfast was delicious.
