The hotel is beautiful, breakfast is great and the staff very helpful and welcoming. We had a great stay. There are lots of restaurants and bars in this area, easy to find a good place to have dinner.

Featuring free WiFi, Pousada e Hostel Chez Marianne offers accommodation in Salvador, near Ondina Beach. Guests will find a shared lounge and a pool table at the property. Property exceeded expectations on all levels. This was my first time staying at a hostel and I was hesitant to do it, but the service was incredible and I did not feel much difference compared to hotels. Very clean rooms and restrooms. Staff is super friendly and humble. Breakfast was fresh and very tasty with so many varieties. Location is great for anyone visiting Salvador, Bahia. I met people from all over the world, including Europe, North America, South America. I had an unexpected incident during my travel and the hostel staff including the owner (Olivier) were super helpful and assisted me in every way possible. Definitely coming back if I visit Salvador again.

The hosts are kind and warm, while being respectful of your privacy. The cats are cute too! Such great levels of comfort and quality - specially given the price. I genuinely loved it here and cannot wait to return for carnival. Oh and the Garden is really cute. And the Wi-Fi is flawless.
